Heads up games are always a lot about adjusting to your opponent but some of the guidelines from this recording should make your life easier if you are inexperienced with poker in general or with this particular format. Position is essential in heads up, hence you can have very wide opening ranges on the button, and often your opponents will fail to adjust and just play back at you with very decent hands. When this is the case you will have little to no trouble winning matches unless you get super unlucky. But it is also important to pay attention and be aware that if the opponent is someone who will only play back at you with legit hands, you should not be ready to pay them off lightly when they do play back. Always keep adjusting and keep thinking about overall ranges of hands and how you are doing against those ranges in any particular situation.
